Position Details
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital experience
Responsibilities
The Labor & Delivery RN provides safe, effective, and high-quality care to patients based on NorthBay’s nursing practice model and Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring. Key responsibilities include:
• Assessing and planning patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Delivering patient-focused, culturally competent care while acting as a patient advocate.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Using advanced communication and technical skills to support positive patient outcomes.
• Adhering to all hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Required Credentials
• Valid California RN License
• Current BLS and ACLS (must meet NorthBay compliance requirements)
